Evidence-Based Performance Improvement

About me

I am a clinical psychologist whose research focuses on improving the prediction, prevention, and treatment of suicide risk, PTSD, OCD, and related conditions. My work examines how psychological, biological, and environmental factors interact in daily life to influence acute changes in suicide risk and anxiety, with a particular emphasis on identifying mechanisms that can inform rapid, personalized interventions. I lead research that spans clinical trials, digital mental health innovation, implementation science, and real-world care delivery, with the goal of translating evidence-based treatments into settings where they can have the greatest public health impact. My broader mission is to develop scalable strategies that improve access to effective mental health care while advancing precision approaches to suicide prevention and anxiety-related disorders.

In addition to my role as a researcher, I support professionals in maximizing their professional and personal potential. Drawing on evidence-based practices, each week I build new content to distill science into easily digestible, practical strategies to support your growth. My content uses behavioral experiments to understand how internal experiences can hold you back in your career, and to how you can set up your environment and your network to propel you forward with intention.
